A retired businessman and former teacher from Park City has announced he will be making a bid for Congress.
With Congressman Rob Bishop retiring after this term, Howard Wallack, a Park City Republican, joins a crowded field of candidates looking to seize the opportunity in the first congressional district. Wallack calls himself a political outsider who can make a real difference helping to cure the toxic political climate in our country.
Wallack has never held political office. He ran for the 2nd Congressional District seat in 2012 because an early map of the district showed Park City within those boundaries. While the boundaries were later changed, keeping Park City in the first district, he stayed in the race.
